CASSIDY E
Registered Dental Hygienist, BSDH
Cassidy was born and raised in Pocatello Idaho and moved to Utah in 2018 for school where she attended Utah Valley University. She then transferred to The Utah College of Dental Hygiene in 2020 to gain her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing hygiene since 2022 and has been working in the dental field since 2018.
Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is educating patients on the importance and reasoning of having a healthy mouth and body, which is why she works closely with a professional dentist Sandy Utah to ensure the best care for her patients.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family camping, biking and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
JENN
RDH
Jennifer grew up in Taylorsville and earned her degree in dental hygiene from Salt Lake Community College. She has been practicing since 2023 and joined our team in October 2024.
Jennifer’s favorite part of her job is building connections with patients and helping them feel more confident in their smiles—though having amazing coworkers is definitely a bonus!
Outside of work, she enjoys trying new foods, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her golden retriever.
EMILY
RDH
Emily was born and raised here in Utah. She is ethnically Chinese and graduated dental hygiene school at the Salt Lake Community College in 2021. She has been working as a hygienist since she started working at Fort Union Family Dental in 2025. Some activities she likes to do are snowboarding, indoor climbing, and art. She loves watching climbing competitions, but those crime interrogation videos are even better. Currently, she and her husband have two fat cats and a well-rounded snake to care for at home.
SADIE
RDH
Sadie was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. She attended the Utah College of Dental Hygiene and graduated in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She’s been in the dental field for almost 5 years, but has been a Dental Hygienist since she graduated in May 2026, when she joined our team.
Her favorite part of working in dentistry is building meaningful connections with patients and helping them feel confident with their smiles. Creating positive experiences for patients at the Dentist and educating them on the importance of oral health where they can feel comfortable, informed and cared for is something she loves to do.
For fun, she loves to be outdoors, whether it’s camping, boating, snowboarding or relaxing at the beach. She and her husband also enjoy game nights with family and friends.
AMY
Lead Dental Assistant
Amy was born in Provo, Utah. She went to the American Institute of Medical and Dental Tech. Amy moved out to Taylorsville, Utah where she met her husband. They have been married for 25 years. They have two children and two grandchildren. She loves being in the dental field because she gets to help take care of and get to know our patients. When Amy is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and making hand-stamped jewelry.
SHELBY
Dental Assistant
Shelby is originally from North Carolina. She's been a dental assistant for six years and has worked for Fort Union Family Dental since she moved to Utah in June, 2025.
Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is connecting with, and getting to know the patients. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping, snowboarding and spending time with her husband.
CAITLIN
Dental Assistant
Caitlin grew up in Lehi Utah and became a certified dental assistant at Assist to Succeed. She’s been assisting for almost 5 years originally starting at Fort Union Family Dental in June of 2022 and returned in June of 2026. She loves helping others become more comfortable at the dentist and have more confidence in their smiles. Outside of work, she loves to be outdoors snowboarding, camping, or swimming.
HEIDI
Office Manager
This is our fabulous office manager, Heidi! Heidi was born in Utah and raised in Idaho. She moved to Maine after getting married and lived there for 25 years. They raised their four daughters there. Heidi has been an office manager for 6 years and has worked with our office since May 2020. She loves helping patients feel comfortable coming to the dentist. She has had a dental phobia in the past and knows that it is common but loves to help people overcome that fear. Her goal is to make every patient feel like part of our dental family. Heidi loves to craft - sewing, vinyl, paper crafts, anything really. Most of her spare time is divided between spending time with her grandchildren and family and making peppered jam.
BRINDA
Patient Experience Specialist
Brinda grew up in St George and has lived in Utah her whole life. She was new to the dental field when she started with Fort Union Family Dental in April of 2024, but we knew she would be fantastic and she had the right personality and temperament that we were looking for. She loves getting to know and interact with all of our wonderful patients when they come in, and the incredible coworkers here are also a huge bonus!
Outside of work she loves exploring the great outdoors with friends and family canyoning, hiking, camping and kayaking.
LEE-ANN
Operations Manager
Lee-Ann was born and raised in Fiji. She lived and grew up in New Zealand and Fiji before moving to Los Angeles in 2007. She has lived in Utah since 2010 and started in the dentistry field working for Dr. Todd Larsen in 2011. Her experience in administration, billing, and accounting has helped her in the management aspect of the dental field. She enjoys travel, food, technology, drawing, painting, and sewing. For someone who was brand new to the dental field, she has developed a passion for family dentistry and helping patients receive the care they need.
